With an undergraduate degree in Chemistry (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Santa Clara, Dr. Healey gained valuable experience working on the Delta Rocket at McDonnell Douglas Astronautics, both during the summers and after completing her degree. At UCLA Medical School Dr. Healey was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as a junior, an accolade reserved for the top medical students in the nation. Internship and Dermatology residency were completed at the UCLA Hospitals and Clinics.
After Dermatology residency Dr. Healey joined the Dermatology Associates Medical Group in Beverly Hills, where she has continued her partnership full-time for 35 years. Her practice is dedicated to medical dermatology, primarily focusing on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as surgical dermatology, which includes treating skin cancers and cancerous moles. Additionally, she offers cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox and filler injections.
Dr. Healey has continued her lifelong commitment to education by teaching dermatology residents and medical students. She has dedicated over 35 years of volunteer service at the UCLA-Wadsworth VA Dermatology Clinic, where she continues to mentor and inspire the next generation of dermatologists. In addition to her teaching role, Dr. Healey served on the UCLA Medical School Admissions Committee for 30 years, contributing her expertise and insight to the selection of future medical students.
